The Northern Ute Indian Tribe Air Quality department currently maintains nine air quality monitoring stations. These stations are located in Redwash, Ouray, Mountain Home, Myton, Whiterocks and Fort Duchesne

The monitoring program has been designed to be receptive to the needs of the Ute Indian Tribe and the guidelines set forth by the United States Enivronmental Protection Agency.
