We need to locate some missing delivered equipment that was delivered on May 20th from Sensus.
It is detrimental that we locate this equipment as soon as possible.

UPDATE FROM WILDLIFE BIG GAME BIOLOGIST:
We have schedule the Big Game Drawing to be held Wednesday, July 10th at 9:30 am at the Tribal Auditorium.

UIT Prosecution Basic Law Classes, held every 1st Tuesday of each month.
Basic Law Class will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2019.
Offering you: Different topics of interest each month, Good food and beverages.
Good group inner action and visiting with each other.
Awesome presenter’s, and Power Points.

PAINTED HORSE PROGRAM UP-COMING WORKSHOP:
Painted Horse Program is having a health presentation on Gut Health.

ANNOUCEMENT FROM THE UTE TRIBE INDIAN HOUSING PLAN:
To all interested Individuals: The Ute Indian Housing Authority’s IHBG Indian Housing Plan for the program year 2020 will be available for review or comment during our regular schedule work hours, Mon-Thurs from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 12 (noon). The purpose as required by section 102 of Native American Housing Assistance and Self Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA), a Indian Housing Plan (IHP) is submitted Northern Plains Office of Native American Programs (NPONAP) for the program’s planned activities, assistance and maintenance of 1937 Act units for the program year. The NPONAP office reviews the IHP for compliance with the NAHASDA regulations. The last day to review will be Friday, July 12, 2019.

UPDATE FROM THE UTE LANGUAGE CLASS:
Ute Language will be held this evening at 5:00 pm. At the Whiterocks Community Building.
This is for beginners to advanced, everyone is invited to participate. Come and learn and practice speaking as we learn our language from May Mountain, Elders and fluent speakers in our communities.
UPDATE FROM UTE TRIBE HEAD START PROGRAM:
Ute Indian Tribe is offering Fatherhood/Motherhood is Sacred Classes. Classes are very Monday and Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Classes will start July 8th and end on August 15th, at the Head Start Administration building.

ANNOUCEMENT FROM UNITAH RIVER HIGH SCHOOL:
Please be advised if you currently have a student attending Uintah River High School and or planning on signing your students up for school. We will need to have verification of your physical address for state reporting. Since URHS staff is out for summer vacation. You can bring a copy of your electric bill, Phone statement, etc. to the Education office or scan and email a copy of your Emeline@utetribe.com or to email@example.com. We only need a copy of the front page that shows your physical address. I will make sure Principal Luck and or counselor Denny receive the paperwork when they come in.
Attention Parents/Guardians of Ninth Graders for 2019-2020:
Uintah River High School will have a registration day for all incoming 9th graders on Monday, July 15th, prior to this, please fill out the online registration form at urhswarriors.com.
Birth Certificates and Immunization records must be brought in on that day. If you have already filled out an online form, please bring the necessary documents on this day.

The Kigalia Guard Station is 50 minutes from any gas station or grocery store.
NO dogs, ATV’s, vending, drugs or alcohol.

UPDATE FROM THE UTE TRIBE SENIOR’S PROGRAM:
Ute Senior/Caregivers: Stretching Routine for Seniors, Senior Balance and Strength Classes every Thursdays, at the Senior Center from 2:00 – 3:00 pm.
Ute Senior & Caregiver Massages: from 10:30 to 11:45 am. Space is limited so book time slots for these days at the Ute Senior Center.
All Ute Caregivers are encouraged and welcome to participate.
Ute Tribe Senior Title V1, Grant-Meals & Grants-Transportation for 2019-2020:
The Ute Senior Center meal service is a regular nutritional meal program this is a benefit tribal members ages 55 years & over whom live within the service area. Meal service is from 11:30 a, to 12:30 pm. Monday thru Thursday, except holidays or tribal events.
REMINDER: most of the tribal senior staff have varied break times due to working thru lunch. The official tribal lunch hours: 12:00 to 12:45 pm.
Ute Tribe Senior Title V1, Ute Caregiver support program for 2019-2020.
The Ute Senior program is here to give support. We will be offering classes or events in coordination with other tribal programs. Respite care for tribal seniors during these times at the Ute Senior Center from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday thru Thursday, plus lunch is provided at the center from 11:30 to 12:30 pm.
Caregiver Requirements: (1.) Must be non-working individual over 18 years of age and main caretaker to tribal senior. Or a non-working enrolled tribal senior whom has legal custody of grandchild.
Fill out all required information.
Must participant in activities.
Once again delivery drivers are having problems with Dogs, watch your animals every mishap is reported to the Ute Indian Tribe Executive Director.

Little Ponies Day Camp: For youth that are NOT attending Summer School. ages 9-17 years old.

Myton – July 21st – 24th, With Continental breakfast at 8:15 am, and going until 4:30 pm.
Fort Duchesne Community Build – July 28th – July 31st. Continental Breakfast at 8:15 am, and going until 4:30 pm.
Activities include: Team Building, Crafts, Story Telling, Hiking, Hand Game and Prevention/IHS Presentation,

SWIMMING: AT VERNAL RECREATION CENTER:
Participants under 9 yrs. old will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Activities available: Play Basketball, walk on Tread Mills, Climb the Rock Wall, Walk the Indoor Track, and Workout in Weight Room.

Weekly Mass held at Kateri Tekakwitha Mission every Wednesday at 5:00 pm, in Fort Duchesne, just North of the Blue Store.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
The Catholic Bishop from Salt Lake Diocesan will be doing a Mass for the Community at the Kateri Tekakwitha Mission in Fort Duchesne, July 14, 2019, Mass will begin at 10:30 am, at the Fort Duchesne Community Building, Refreshments will be served after the mass. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The Ute Indian Housing Authority is seeking to two (2) workers with carpentry skills to do rehabilitation work on homes currently under management. The homes are located in various communities through-out the Uintah and Ouray Reservation.
