NOTICE: FROM THE UTE TRIBE TRIBAL TRANSPORTATION:
Ute Indian Tribe Transportation Planning/IRR is announcing the reconstruction of East Whiterocks Bridge UOIR 2
The constructor of the project is R. Chapman Construction.
This project consists of demolition and replacement of the existing Whiterocks Bridge, including road improvement on the East and West side of the bridge structure with channel widening, riprap rail bank protection under the new structure and waterline replacement.
- R. Chapman Construction encourages the traveling public to pay attention to construction detour signs which will be placed shortly prior to start of bridge construction. Detour map will be posted at the Tribal Administration Building, Ute Plaza, Ute Petroleum, Post Office (Fort Duchesne and Whiterocks)

UPDATE FROM THE OFFICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & ENGINEERING:
Help us save the lives of more animals!!, Nuzzles & Co. has partnered with the Ute Tribe and IHS to provide a low cost Spay and Neuter Clinic, May 4th and 5th , 2019, at the Whiterocks Community Center.
Check in is between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. Cost is $10.00 for cats, and $15.00 for dogs.
Animals MUST be healthy and at least 8 weeks old. Please bring all dogs on leashes and cats in carriers.
Call the office at 722-5911 and say they’re calling for the Spay & Neuter clinic, and leave your name and a good phone number when you can be reached.
There is a cost of $15.00 for dogs and $10.00 for cats for the surgery. $3.00 for Distemper and Parvo shot for dogs or cats. There will be free Rabies shots for dogs and cats.

Notice is hereby given that the Ute Indian Tribe of the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation (hereinafter reffered to as the Ute Indian Tribe) Under the Free-Roaming Horse Management Plan for the Uintah & Ouray Reservation.
The Ute Indian Tribe Fish & Wildlife is publishing this notice in regards to the Ute Tribe Big Game Enhancement Department to conduct a round up in Hill Creek Extension.
The Horse Round Up will take effect after April 30th , 2019.

Ute Senior/Caregivers: Stretching Routine For Seniors, Senior Balance and Strength Classes every Thursday, starting May 2nd at the Senior Center 2:00 – 3:00 pm.
Tuesday morning will be Senior Massage after 10:30 to 12:00 noon.
All Ute Caregivers are encouraged and welcome to participate.
Exercises on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:15-2:00 pm. Points are being counted for participations prizes/awards.
Senior Crafts/Respite Program: has been doing all sorts of crafts, wreath making, fleece blankets, and many other seasonal decorations are to come. I have directed and require that all senior staff help do crafts or come up with idea’s, all crafts are done on site.
Ute Tribe Senior Title V1, Ute Caregiver Support Program for 2019-2020:
The Ute Senior Program is here to give support. We will be offering classes or events in coordination with other tribal program. Resite care for tribal seniors during these times at the Ute Senior Center from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Monday thru Thursday, plus lunch is provided at the center from 11:30 to 12:30 pm.
Meal Delivery: As required by Federal Grants guidelines, we cannot leave food outside your home, if your not going to be home, please call the Senior Office @ 725-4281.
Also delivery drivers are having problems with Dogs, please watch your animals, every mishap is reported to the UIT Executive Director.
For those needing chore work contact: UIT Building Rehab, UIT Water Systems, or UIT Maintenance. All these programs are here to try their best to assist.
UPDATE FROM THE UTE INDIAN HOUSING AUTHORITY:
All applicants that have submitted application for the Low-Rental Program need to update their applications or your name will be removed from the waiting list. If you have not submitted all proper documentation required, your application will be consider incomplete, according to the Ute Indian Housing Authority (UIHA) Eligibility Admissions and Occupancy Policy.

Your invited to come participate in Head Starts end of the year event! May 22nd , at 10:30 am. Held at the Roosevelt Constitution Park.
We are encouraging all departments to come help us celebrate our end of the year celebration by sponsoring a fun enriched activity for children and parents. The activity sponsored can be educational, cultural, physical or safety wise. These activities are geared to help encourage families to be safe and fun during the summer.
You will need to provide your own table for your activity and we are asking all sponsors to be at the park and set up not later than 10:00 am.
